Resource selection is based on a number of key elements critical to physicians and patients.The software application incorporate functionality for Resource Availability and Resource Allocation, which are tightly coupled and communicate with each other to enable the real time engagement of healthcare resources to improve the coordination of patient care. The resource availability and allocation process is unique because (1) it is easy to use through a graphical visual implementation instead of more burdensome calendaring; and (2) enables the efficient coordination of patient flow to and allocation of care resources depending on the availability, services provided, proximity and quality rating of all resources necessary to provide timely and appropriate care.
